Giving prompts or administering medication, to maintain your wellbeing. We also support with getting around your home, out and about in the local community, toileting and continence care needs.
Other popular care services at home include meal preparation at meal times, wellbeing checks, support with household tasks, cleaning, shopping, and sitting services – giving family members a much-deserved break.
Before the First Homecare Visit – Creating a Personal Care Plan
Before our first visit we will arrange a meeting to gather as much insightful information about you as possible and create a personal care plan. One of our assessors will visit you and any family members you wish to be involved at home where we will discuss your requirements and suggest the length and total visits you require each day or week.
We will then create a personal care plan of how you would like us the deliver your care, a plan that our professional care staff will follow. We will discuss your daily routines, preferences, background & history, and any medical or health needs we need to be aware of. This information will be used to create a person centred care plan including visits at the times and days you want them, how you like things to be done, your preference of male or female carers, giving you choice and control over your care.
